Edward L. Kirk, 61, Freeport- Edward L. Kirk, 61 of Freeport, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013, in his home. Edward was born on June 4, 1952, in Jonestown, Mississippi, the son of J.D. and Drucilla Kirk. Edward moved to Freeport in 1998. Edward leaves to mourn his mother: wife of 27 years, Debra Kirk: five sons, Edward Jr. (Frankie Kirk), Terrell, Stanford, Kevin, and Emmanuel: one daughter, Anita Kirk: brother and sisters, LeDora Perry of South Haven, MS., Dennis Flower of Chicago, Wanda Foxx of Kansas City, MO., Edd Kirk of Jamestown, MS., Bythia (Oliver) Guyton of South Haven, MS., Teresa Kirk South Haven, MS., Allen (Linda) Kirk of Milwaukee, WI: two goddaughters, Sherri and Tanna (Brian): three sisters-in-law, Scottie, Linda, and Elaine (James) one brother-in-law, Robert Clark, Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephew, cousins, and one aunt, Freddie Mae Town. Edward was well loved in the community and he will be missed. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Viisiitaton will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery
