Jean A. Loss, 78, of Freeport passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at FHN Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 14, 1935, in Freeport, a daughter of Joseph and Grace (Veer) Martin. On September 27, 1952, she married Roger Loss in Freeport. She was a retired employee of Parkview Home. Surviving are her children, Teresa (Larry) Seidemann and Kerry Loss (Cindy Entmeier); her grandchildren, Trace Chambers, Amy (Brian) Filer, Nicholas (Krista) Seidemann, Andrew Seidemann, Autumn Seidemann, and Ben (Anne)Loss; six great-grandchildren; four Great-great-grandchildren: one brother, Frank (vI) Martin; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Larry Loss, a granddaughter, and two sisters. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 11, 2014, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd., with Pastor Brian Eatock of the First Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 11 a. m. until the time of service.
