Obituary for Lynden Paul Endress

LYNDEN PAUL ENDRESS, 42 PEARL CITY - Lynden Paul Endress, 42, of Pearl City, IL, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014, at his family's dairy farm. He was born September 19, 1971; the son of Dennis and Carol (Kuhlmyer) Endress. He graduated from Pearl City High School in 1989. He then attended Highland Community College in Freeport, IL and the University of Wisconsin Platteville, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science and Agricultural Business. Lynden and Tina Strohecker were married on December 9, 1995, in Shannon, IL. He had farmed on the family dairy farm all of his life and also worked at Pearl City Elevator for a few years. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Shannon and served on the Stephenson County Farm Bureau Board. Lynden loved to play catch with his children and going on trips to the Wisconsin Dells water parks and Six Flags. He enjoyed collecting John Deere and Structo Toys and watching his children's sporting events and dance recital. He loved watching sporting events on TV, especially the New Orleans Saints and Chicago White Sox. He also enjoyed deer hunting and showing beef cattle at the Stephenson County Fair. Lynden is survived by his wife, Tina of Pearl City; his children, Zander Paul Endress (12 years old), Lexton Paul Endress (8 years old), and Fallyn Elizabeth Endress (7 years old); his parents, Dennis and Carol; his brother, James (Deb) Endress of Shannon and their children, Justin (Kimberly) Diefenbach; Rachel (Shaun) Quimby and their son, Landon; Josh (Tiffany) Endress; and Haylee Endress (Lake Knutti); sister, Christeen (John) Urish and their children, Kristy (Randy) Clark and their children, Kayden and Kyra, Michael (Lindsey) Urish and their children, Peyton, Jace, and Harper; and Stephanie (Steven) Winter; sister, Denise (James) Musser and their children, Joel Musser, Darin (Shannon) Musser and their children, Drake, Brea, and Charlotte; Brett (Aubrey) Musser and their children, Shea and Sawyer; Courtney Musser; and Brock (Kimberlee) Musser and their daughter, Gemma; brother, Bradley (Shauna) Endress and their children, Abigayle and Mackenzie; sister, Martha (Mike) Palmer and their children: Mikayla Palmer, Allison Palmer, Seth Palmer, Alayna Palmer, and Ella Kness; father and mother-in-law, Gerald and Carol Strohecker; and sister-in-law, Tonya (Michael) Burke and their children, Jayden and Kyle Burke. He is preceded in death by Oscar and Naomi Endress, and Hallie and Martha Kuhlmyer. The visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Shannon, IL. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at the church. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Freeport, IL.
