Pamela M. Pfeiffer 1949—2016
Pamela M. (Vincent) Pfeiffer, 67, passed away April 20, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born January 31, 1949 in Freeport, IL., to Edith and Charles Vincent. She married Gary Pfeiffer on September 11, 1976. She worked for Sundstrand (Sauer Danfoss) for 36 years. Pam was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had the most wonderful laugh like all of the Vincent family. She always put others before herself and was quick with a smile. Her resolve was second to none. She was the most positive and gentle person who loved flowers, garage sales, battling the one armed bandit, and animals, especially cats. She is survived by her husband and 4 children, Tammy (Todd) Hoeft of Freeport, IL., Kevin Pfeiffer of Topeka, KS., Nichole (Chuck) Krautblatt of Orlando, FL., William Pfeiffer of Machesney Park, IL., sister Betty (Robert) Becke of Freeport, IL., brother Jim (Dee) Vincent of Freeport IL., grandson Skyler (Casey) Rettenmeier of Freeport, IL., granddaughter Morganne Rettenmeier of Freeport, IL., granddaughter Zoë Grover of South Beloit, IL., granddaughter Madison Kielsmeier of Freeport, IL., granddaughter Ashlyn Pfeiffer of Cedarville, IL., great-grandsons Landyn Scheider, Myles Rettenmeier and great-granddaughter, Priscella Rettenmeier all of Freeport, IL., Sister-in-law Kathie (Tim) Haubach of Lena, IL., sister-in-law Jody (Jesse) Akins of Forreston, IL., sister-in-law Bernice Vincent of Bixby, OK., and many nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her parents and 5 siblings. Edwin Vincent, Frank Vincent, Richard Vincent, Lois (Vincent) Bryant and Gerald Vincent.
Services will be held at Walker Mortuary at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 23rd with the visitation on Friday, April 22nd from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Walker Mortuary in Freeport IL. A memorial has been established. Please leave a message in Pamela's guestbook at www.walkermortuary.com.
