Nancy Jacoby, 69 of Freeport died Sunday August 8, 2010 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born October 30, 1940 in Freeport she was the daughter of Anthony “Tony” and Thelma (Yoder) Giuffre. Nancy was a 1959 graduate of Aquin High School and retired from MetLife Ins. Co. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son Ted (Lori ) Jacoby of Roscoe; one daughter Julie (Tom ) Heck of Freeport; six grandchildren T.J. (Trinity) Heck, Jamie Heck, Alyssa Heck all of Freeport, Zachary, Anthony, Caleb Jacoby all of Roscoe; two great grandchildren Trey, Heavenlee Heck; Two sisters Jean (Willy) Alber and Marilyn (Gene) Evans, both of Freeport; two brothers Tony (Rita) Giuffre of Eddyville, and Thomas (Nancy) Giuffre of Freeport; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Nancy’s family wishes to thank all medical personnel at FHN Memorial Hospital and Rockford Memorial Hospital for all their care and support.
Funeral Information

Visitation will be Thursday 4pm until 7pm at Walker Mortuary. Funeral service will be Friday 10am at Walker Mortuary with the Reverend Bill and Reverend Patti Heck officiating.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum Freeport.
